I have been blessed with the opportunity to represent Kentucky's 61st House District- Grant County, and portions of Boone, Kenton, and Scott Counties- since 2018. I currently serve on the following committees:
-Economic Development and Workforce Investment
-Budget Review Subcommittee for Economic Development, Tourism, Public Protection, and Energy
I am a lifelong Kentuckian, and a sixth-generation Grant Countian. My husband Eldon and I have been married for eleven years and live on a farm in Dry Ridge, along with our two children. I am proud to call this region my home, and have a vested interest in ensuring that the future of this district- and our Commonwealth- is secure and promising. I am strongly motivated by the desire to serve others, and to improve the lives of those around me through all that I endeavor.
I attended Northern Kentucky University, where I obtained a B.A. in both History and International Relations (Political Science). I formerly served as Chair of the Grant County Republican Party, and Programming Chair for the Northern Kentucky Young Republicans. I have been involved with the Republican party for over a decade, and am passionate about the political process and encouraging others to take an active role in civic engagement. I am a member of the Grant County Chamber of Commerce, Kenton County Republican Women's Club, Grant County Historical Society, National Rifle Association, and currently serve on the NKU-Grant County Advisory Board. My family and I are active members at Family Bible Church in Williamstown, where my husband serves as a deacon. My Christian faith is the cornerstone of my beliefs, and serves as the basis for my commitment to ethics and principled leadership.
I consider it a privilege to serve the people who live in the 61st District by being openly accessible and engaged in working toward solutions for the issues that impact our communities. It is an honor to be your voice in Frankfort, and I am dedicated to ensuring that your voice is heard loud and clear concerning the pivotal issues we are facing in the Commonwealth. I consider it my duty to scrutinize every piece of potential legislation with one, concrete approach- “Is this the best course of action for the people I represent?”. If you don't yet know me personally, please feel free to reach out through my website, e-mail, Facebook or Twitter- I'm happy to connect. Thank you, and God Bless.
